All About Me!

My name is Carlyn Underwood and I am a kindergarten teacher for Leclaire Elementary School in Edwardsville.  I was raised in Edwardsville and am an Edwardsville High School graduate.  I could not be happier to be a part of the Edwardsville teaching team.  I graduated from SIUE in May of 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  This is my fourth year teaching and I love every second of it.  I live in Edwardsville with my wife (Libby, Math teacher at Liberty Middle School) and my nephew (Peyton). I have three  poodles (Abby, Chloe, and Corkie) and two turtles (Hilton and Aqua).  I also have a culinary degree and enjoy cooking and baking in my spare time.
